The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster Reopens at Universal's Islands of Adventure!

  • August 09, 2016

The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster has officially reopened at Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park! Fans of the Universal Studios Orlando theme park sure have missed the coaster since it’s closing last September for refurbishment. The Incredible Hulk is known for being fast and loud, with roars and screams heard throughout the park! So what changes can be expected from this new ride experience?

Fans of the old roller coaster will notice that the look of the ride has changed a bit, and with this change comes some awesome new features! In the original Incredible Hulk, the riders were shot out of a purple tube, which is no longer there. The coaster now features a sleek, all green track and ride vehicles. The Incredible Hulk has gotten an all-new steel track, but still follows the same path as the original ride. The ride vehicles are new as well, with a built in speaker system playing music throughout the length of the ride!

The attraction also features an updated queue and locker area, where guests are greeted by a giant Hulk statue holding one of the ride vehicles above his head. A bit of a teaser of what the guests will experience on the ride!

The Universal theme parks are just a short drive from the Vista Cay Resort. Thrill seekers and roller coaster fans should absolutely check out Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks while staying with us. Guests looking for an adrenaline rush will love The Dragon Challenge twin coasters in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Rip Ride Rocket just as much as the Incredible Hulk Coaster. At just 10 minutes from the Universal Orlando theme parks, Vista Cay Resort is the perfect way to enjoy a day at the parks, and still get some peace and quiet in your own condo or townhome at the end of a long day!

Orlando is home to so many fun attractions to keep you busy during your vacation. In addition to the major theme parks like Disney, Universal and SeaWorld, there is a multitude of attractions up and down International Drive, right by Vista Cay.

International Drive is the number one place to check out if you are visiting Orlando. Since the addition of the I-Drive 360 complex in May of 2015, the area surrounding the Coca Cola Orlando Eye has been flourishing.
