The Coca-Cola Orlando: What to Expect from the All New Experience

  • August 01, 2016

The Orlando Eye has become a landmark for both tourists and locals alike ever since it’s grand opening in May of 2015. As of just last week, you may have noticed some changes that have been made to the Eye. No longer does the 400 foot observation wheel don the name “The Orlando Eye”, and will now be called the “Coca-Cola Orlando Eye”.

What changes can be expected from this new branding? The most noticeable will be the colors seen on the wheel itself. Instead of the classic purple it has become known for, the wheel and the inside entrance will now show more of the traditional Coca-Cola colors of red and white. The wheel also continuously changes colors in honor of different holidays and other special occasions or events, and most recently was sporting rainbow hues in support of the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting.

The major addition to the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye in the midst of all of these changes can be found on the wheel itself, and is quite a treat! In select cars on the wheel, guests are treated to a new Coca-Cola themed experience. These capsules feature extra Coca-Cola décor, upbeat music, a cooler full of Coca-Cola products, and selfie sticks for guests to capture the perfect snapshot during their fun ride. Be sure to tag your photos on social media using the hashtag #cocacolaorlandoeye!
