Hot Krust Panini Kitchen: Your New Go-To Lunch Spot

  • November 02, 2016

Hot Krust Panini Kitchen has been an Orlando locals’ favorite since its opening four years ago. Yet with its close proximity to the hustle and bustle of International Drive, it’s a great place for visitors to the Vista Cay Resort to venture out for a casual bite. Our staff loves the menu at Hot Krust, not only for it’s local nature, but because you can feel good about what’s going into your food, and we’ll tell you why.

Hot Krust is dedicated to delivering fresh ingredients to their customers. They roast their own meats, and although you’ll see French fries on the menu, you won’t find a fryer in their kitchen! The waffle fries, sweet potato waffle fries and spicy curly fries are all to die for, and BAKED! I promise you won’t miss the fryer, these are still extra crispy!

If you like sandwiches, you can’t go wrong with one of their paninis, with fillings including beef, chicken, turkey, veggies and even seafood on white or multigrain bread. Gluten free? Not to worry! Hot Krust offers a variety of GF salads, and can make any sandwich gluten free. Their signature Chili Cactus Soup is also gluten free! There’s something for everyone at Hot Krust.

With so many options to choose from, where do you begin? Two of Hot Krust’s most popular sandwiches are the Philly Steak Panini and the Florentine Chicken. The Philly Steak is phenomenal, with slow cooked steak, provolone, onions and peppers, and a chipotle ranch sauce giving it a unique twist. The Florentine Chicken tastes super fresh, with grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, muenster, spinach and pesto. Yum! Already in the fall spirit? Try the Gobble Gobble Turkey! Roasted turkey and cranberry sauce along with bacon, cheddar, tomatoes and spinach basically make this Thanksgiving on a sandwich!

Hot Krust is located just about ten minutes away from the Vista Cay Resort. With combos (sandwich, side and drink) available for less than ten dollars, this is worth the trip off of International Drive for some fresh, local foods. Take your family and friends here to enjoy a delicious, made to order meal, hot off the press!
