5. Your own condo at Vista Cay Resort- if you’re reading this, we may be lucky enough to have you as a guest in our resort! Our condos and townhomes are great for the whole family to celebrate the holidays. With full kitchens to make a special meal and spacious living rooms to decorate, it’s the perfect way to gather with your loved ones this holiday season.

Orlando is a wonderfully festive place to spend the holiday season with your loved ones. Even with the lack of cold weather and snow, the tourist corridor is busting at the seams with holiday cheer. There are so many things to see and do near the Vista Cay Resort. With all the options, and the holidays quickly approaching, we’ve narrowed down our Top 5 favorite ways to celebrate the holidays in Orlando.

Top 5 Places To Celebrate the Holidays In Orlando

1. ICE! at the Gaylord Palms- This event is fun for the whole family! Each year, the Gaylord Palms Resort transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland, with over two million pounds of hand carved ice sculptures. This year’s theme features “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, showcasing all of your favorite characters carved in ice, as well as ice slides, an ice bar, and a Christmas tree light show in the hotel atrium.

2. Disney Springs- this has always been one of our favorite ways to get the magic of Disney World, without the price tag of the parks or hotels. Disney has tons of holiday fun for the whole family set up throughout Disney Springs. They have two separate dance areas with holiday DJ’s, a nightly Christmas tree lighting, holiday photo-ops, and photos with Santa. Don’t forget to stop by the Christmas Tree Trail, where each tree has a different theme! When you’re ready for a bite to eat, check out our list of our favorite Disney Springs restaurants here.

3. Frosty’s Christmastime Lounge- adults only on this one! This bar in Downtown Orlando is arguably the most festive place in town, decked out in holiday décor from floor to ceiling. So pull up a stool at the bar, order yourself some homemade eggnog or an alcoholic snow cone, and delight in the mix of Christmas carols and 80’s throwbacks as “snow” falls on your head.

4. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort– this is not to be missed! Each year, the Grand Floridian builds a beautiful life sized gingerbread house in its lobby. If you’re heading to the parks, jump on the resort monorail and stop here for a photo-op first. The entire lobby smells sweet like cookies, and there are lots of gingerbread items for sale as well.
