5 Happy Hours to Try Near the Vista Cay Resort

  • October 12, 2016

Here at Orlando Resorts Rental, we want to help our guests have an absolutely amazing time in Orlando. Sometimes, that means helping you find the best bars and restaurants for an adult beverage. (Or two, or three…) So I ask you, what is better than a martini or an ice-cold beer? A martini or ice-cold beer on happy hour prices. Our staff loves a good happy hour, so we have done countless hours of…research, to provide you with this list of fantastic happy hours right near the Vista Cay Resort.

5 Awesome Happy Hours To Try In Orlando

1.Ocean Prime– this happy hour menu hits a home run in both food and drinks. Seven days a week, from 5-7 PM, their signature cocktails are half off, with $5 off small plates and sushi items from the bar menu. We love the King Crab and Spinach Dip. Ocean Prime mixes up some super unique cocktails. They infuse their own vodka for an unreal Pineapple Martini, freeze orchids into ice cubes for the Purple Orchid, and if you order the Berries and Bubbles, be ready for some smoke with your drink! Make sure to get some of their delicious Truffle Popcorn, free in the bar area!

2. Brick House– this happy hour is a beer lover’s paradise, with $3 craft drafts and $4 imports weekdays from 3-7 PM. They even offer specials on their 100 oz beer bongs for you to pour your own glass at your table! $5 snacks like the Buffalo Chicken Meatballs and $7 specialty snacks like the Butcher’s Board are the perfect accompaniments to that pint!

3. RA Sushi- located in Pointe Orlando, RA is a super fun Japanese Fusion happy hour. RA offers varying happy hour schedules seven days a week, making it an awesome late-night spot as well. From Monday-Saturday enjoy their specials from 3-7 PM, and again from 10 PM to close, and Sundays from 3 PM- close. Sushi and appetizers range from $3.49 to $8.99. We love the Pineapple Cheese Wontons, Viva Las Vegas Roll, and the Blushing Geisha cocktail to wash it all down!

4. Vines Grille and Wine Bar offering ½ price wine and $5-$7 cocktails from 4-7 PM daily, Vines is voted the best happy hour in Orlando! The menu also boasts plenty of food options like Wagyu Beef Sliders and Tuna Tartare. The best part about Vines? For just $5 they will bring you a BASKET OF BACON! What’s better than a good old pile of bacon? Not much….

5. Fleming’s Steakhouse- Fleming’s offers two happy hours nightly, to attract both the early birds and night owls. From 5-7 PM, enjoy selections starting at $6. From 8-9 PM, these selections start at $9. Our recommendations? The Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini, Tenderloin Carpaccio, Calamari, and the Prime Rib Dip!

These awesome happy hours are all less than a 15 minute drive from the Vista Cay Resort. Pull up a chair at the bar, relax, and enjoy!
