This combined film production studio and theme park features is composed of themed areas and attractions based on the film industry! Visitors enjoy themed dining and shopping, a variety of special events throughout the year, and may even catch an actual film crew at work on the backlot. The park consists of six themed areas – Hollywood, Production Central, New York, San Francisco, London, World Expo, and Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone. Home to the Blue Man Group, the famous Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Bill and Ted’s Great Adventure, there’s a show for everyone! Throughout the year, Universal likes to celebrate in style with major events such as Mardi Gras and the popular Halloween Horror Nights!
Islands of Adventure
If you’re more into extreme rides and thrills for the family, Islands of Adventure is for you! Throughout the park, areas are divided up onto “islands” such as Marvel, Comic, Dr. Seuss, Jurassic Park, with the newest being The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Popular rides include the world famous Hulk roller coaster, Dr. Doom’s Fear Fall and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey! Recently, a new section of the Harry Potter world has opened up in Universal Studios connecting the two Harry Potter worlds by the Hogwarts Express, allowing guests to traveling between the two parks!
Home to exquisite dining, shopping and music, City Walk serves up the highest quality of nightlife entertainment. From the numerous bars and lounges, to Jimmy Buffet’s Margartiaville, guests are able to relax while also experiencing the livelihood of City Walk!
